Apple and Tech Data have collaborated to provide an automated solution to enroll your customer’s devices in AppleCare. AppleCare transactions are facilitated through Tech Data’s custom Service Attach Tool – built and optimized to make enrolling your customer’s devices in AppleCare simple and worry free.

AppleCare registration is directly integrated into Tech Data’s ordering system to automatically enroll the customer’s hardware with the AppleCare agreement.

Device Enrollment Program (DEP)
With the Device Enrollment Program, large-scale deployments of iPad, iPhone, and Mac are seamless. Automate mobile device management (MDM) enrollment for every device, so that when activated, they are immediately configured with account settings, apps, and access to corporate services over the air.

DEP enrollment is facilitated at the serial number level and is directly integrated into Tech Data systems to automatically enroll the customer’s eligible Apple hardware once the product ships from our warehouse. These transactions are facilitated through our DEP portal, which was built and customized by Tech Data’s IT department.

Simply place your hardware order with Tech Data the same way you do today and ensure you clearly label “DEP enrollment” somewhere on the purchase order. Additionally, ensure the below information is also provided with each request:

  • Unique Reference Order Number (a.k.a. DEP Key such as end user PO)
  • DEP Reseller ID
  • DEP End Customer ID
